Firefighter Cancer Support Network Health & Wellness Symposium

Firefighter Cancer Support Network, with the support and commitment of the Yuhaaviatam of San Manuel Nation, is hosting an inaugural two-and-a-half-day cancer awareness, prevention, and screening program for firefighters. This program aims to educate participants on the scope and science of cancer, best practices for prevention and survivorship, and the unique cancer threats faced by underrepresented groups, such as female firefighters.

  • Free cancer screenings (dermatology, esophageal, ultrasound, and more) will be available to attendees.

  • Saturday, Sept. 27, the Firefighter Cancer Support Network will host an 8-hour Train-the-Trainer session, followed by an evening networking event for all.

  • The Symposium kicks off Sunday afternoon with an Opening Ceremony, educational sessions, and a networking event featuring comedian Adam Ferrara.

  • Monday continues with sessions until 4:30 p.m.

  • Exhibitors will be on site Sunday and Monday to connect with attendees from the fire service and health industries.
